The Pittsburgh Chinese Cultural Center Art Group, alongside local artists and volunteers, visited Pittsburgh Environmental Charter School to deliver a unique Lunar New Year cultural experience celebrating the Year of the Horse. Through live calligraphy demonstrations and the beautiful melodies of the erhu and pipa, students engaged directly with Chinese cultural traditions. The elegant qipao showcase and bilingual solo performances kept the audience engaged, drawing continuous applause and excitement throughout the program. It was an energetic, hands-on celebration filled with music, art, and cultural discovery — an excellent opportunity to share the spirit of the Chinese Lunar New Year with the next generation and broader community.
